The traditional food and wine of Val di Sole is extremely particular and varied, in every respect. There are many typical traditional products, from cured meats to cheeses, honey, jams, wines… in short, there is something for all tastes! Speck, luganega and salami, but also aged cheeses, produced in small farms, organic honey and many excellent quality wines, which will certainly be able to brighten romantic dinners, with family or friends.

The dishes and typical products of the Val di Sole represent one of the oldest traditions and are just one of the many ways to learn about the history of this splendid area, discovering the ancient tastes and traditional recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation.

Craftsmanship is another of the typical features of this place, from woodworking to ceramics, for a tradition that has been lost over the centuries… if you are passionate about crafts, you absolutely cannot miss the most important event: the Christmas Markets!

Of particular relevance is the processing of wool “Loden” or “Lana Cotta”, the fabric that is obtained from it has been used, since ancient times, to create works now preserved in castles, churches and museums.
